Bilateral Recognition memorandum of understanding
The European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS) and Moldova's National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC) have signed a Bilateral Recognition Memorandum of Understanding. This milestone agreement formalizes mutual recognition of each organization’s quality assurance standards in further and higher education, fostering academic mobility and institutional cooperation in Moldova and across ECLBS-member institutions. ECLBS—a non-profit assurance body founded in 2013—partners with ANACEC, a state-established agency founded in 2015 and rebranded in 2018, to align educational quality frameworks with EU benchmarks

The Agency, founded on April 22, 2015, as a non-profit administrative authority through Government Decision no. 191, originally bore the title of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education (ANACIP). However, effective February 28, 2018, as stipulated by Government Decision no. 201, it underwent a name change and is now recognized as the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC).
