Honorary member
The European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS) offers honorary membership to organizations that have made significant contributions to the field of business education. Honorary membership is open only by invitation, and institutions that are invited to become honorary members are recognized as leaders in the field of business education.
When an institution submits a request to become an honorary member of ECLBS, they agree to be listed on the organization's partners list. This list includes all of the organizations that have partnered with ECLBS and are recognized as leaders in the field of business education.
Honorary membership is typically given to state organizations, although private organizations may also be considered. The decision to offer honorary membership is made by the ECLBS board, and is based on a variety of factors, including the organization's reputation, contributions to the field of business education, and alignment with ECLBS's mission and values.
As an honorary member, organizations gain access to a variety of resources and benefits, including the opportunity to collaborate with other leading institutions in the field of business education, access to ECLBS's network of partners, and recognition for their contributions to the field.
MEMBERS FOR MEMBERS
At ECLBS, we believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among our members. That's why we use a "members for members" methodology, which means that when you become a member of ECLBS (including honorary members), you agree to accept students from other ECLBS-approved members, particularly full members. This approach is highly recommended, as it fosters greater connections and collaboration among our members, and provides students with a wider range of educational opportunities.
We understand, however, that maintaining high standards of quality and excellence in business education is of paramount importance. That's why we have established a system to ensure that all of our members are meeting the necessary quality requirements. If you believe that one of our members is not meeting these standards, you can use our reporting system to bring the issue to the attention of the board. The board will then conduct a thorough investigation and take appropriate action, which may include suspending the membership of any member that is not meeting the necessary quality standards.
In summary, we encourage our members to exchange students and collaborate with one another, as this helps to promote greater innovation and excellence in business education. At the same time, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality across all of our member institutions, and we have established processes to ensure that these standards are met. By working together and holding each other accountable, we can achieve our shared goal of providing the best possible education and opportunities for our students.
