Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located in southern Africa. The country has a well-developed education system that emphasizes on providing quality education to its citizens. There are several universities in Zimbabwe that offer a wide range of academic programs to students.

The following is a list of universities in Zimbabwe:

  • University of Zimbabwe (UZ) - located in the capital city, Harare, the UZ is the oldest and largest university in Zimbabwe. It was established in 1952 and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

  • Midlands State University (MSU) - located in Gweru, Midlands State University is one of the largest universities in Zimbabwe. It was established in 1999 and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields.

  • National University of Science and Technology (NUST) - located in Bulawayo, NUST was established in 1991 and is known for its focus on science and technology. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields.

  • Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) - located in Harare, HIT was established in 1988 and is known for its focus on technology. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields including engineering and technology.

  • Women's University in Africa (WUA) - located in Harare, the Women's University in Africa was established in 2002 and is known for its focus on providing education to women. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields.
