Neue Mitgliedschaftskriterien gültig ab 1. April 2025
Vollmitgliedschaft – Ausschließlich für Business Schools, Universitäten oder vergleichbare Hochschulen verfügbar.
Verbundene Mitgliedschaft – Reserviert für Akkreditierungsagenturen, Qualitätssicherungsstellen oder ähnliche Organisationen.
Assoziierte Mitgliedschaft – Offen für neu gegründete Organisationen (weniger als 5 Jahre alt) oder ähnliche Einrichtungen.

To become a member of the European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS), interested institutions must submit an application. The submitted information will be verified by ECLBS before being forwarded for a vote by the board of directors at the next annual meeting.
The verification process ensures that all applicants meet the necessary criteria for membership and that the information provided is accurate and complete. ECLBS maintains high standards for membership and carefully evaluates each application to ensure compliance with the organization’s values and mission.
Once an application is verified, it will be presented to the board of directors for voting at the next annual meeting. The board of directors is responsible for approving new members and upholding the organization's rigorous membership standards.

Please note your website/prospectus/leaflets/brochure will be critically assessed if you apply for the full membership before it goes for voting.
When institutions apply for full membership in the European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS), their website, prospectus, leaflets, brochure, and any other relevant materials will be critically assessed before they are presented for voting by the board of directors.
ECLBS has high standards for membership and carefully evaluates each application to ensure that all members meet the necessary requirements and uphold the values and mission of the organization. As part of this evaluation process, the organization will critically assess the institution's website, prospectus, leaflets, brochure, and other materials to ensure that they meet the necessary standards and accurately represent the institution.
The critical assessment may include a review of the institution's academic programs, faculty qualifications, research and publications, student services, facilities, and other relevant factors. The assessment is designed to ensure that the institution meets the high standards for membership in ECLBS and that it will be a valuable contributor to the organization.
How long does membership process take?
The membership process usually takes up to 6 months from the submission.
What decisions can the ECLBS Committee take?
The ECLBS Committee can either decide to:
membership without any condition,
membership with conditions, or
refuse the membership application.
